This traditional handmade Irish Saint Brigid’s cross is made from willow and tied with a wire. The cross is a century-old custom dating back to the 17th century and has been central for Celtic culture ever since.

These crosses are made from willow which will last a lot longer than the conventional rush cross. They are connect with a loop making them perfect as a hanging interior decoration.

Our products are carefully crafted at our workshop in Ireland and we use high quality willow to ensure a strong and durable product.

NOTE: Only a limited number of these are made each year. Although I have a standardised size for baskets I can’t guarantee the same colour each time. Generally when making baskets I try to make them out of at least two different colours. I never make the exact same basket twice so everything is a limited edition. With that said, I cannot guarantee the exact same basket, with the exact same colours as the photos shown. I just work with what is available to me.
